ABOUT US

The Gilbert Advocacy Center Foundation (Gilbert ACF) is managed by unpaid community leaders who believe in its vision, mission, and purpose.  Other than the fundamental overhead costs to manage the public accountability of funds raised, all dollars raised will be directed to services provided through the Gilbert Advocacy Center.

The Gilbert ACF will assess the needs of the community as a first objective for each community of interest connected with the overarching objective of victim assistance and advocacy.  This assessment will guide the planning and the development of the infrastructure of the service delivery at the heart of Gilbert ACF’s mission.  The planning includes developing leadership, budgeting and community connections.  Along with building the human infrastructure required for effective, ethical, humane and sustained victim advocacy, Gilbert ACF intends that its fundraising plan includes the brick and mortar required to support the actual service delivery.

All the Gilbert ACF activities will reflect its profound and fundamental commitment to crime victims.  At its core, this effort intends that the municipality and its citizens understand, recognize and support the victims of crime and how and why crime victims experience trauma and injury.
